After the recent installation in Paris of more than one hundred Doors of Gold on the Champs Elysées Avenue -the greatest installation ever made by an Italian artist in Paris-, Marco Nereo Rotelli presents a selection, in the U.S.A at Quiroz 108 Gallery in Miami in collaboration with the Centro Italiano per le Arti e la Cultura, of his famous gold doors.

The exhibition will also include drawings and paintings by the artist.

These masterpieces, highlighting Marco Nereo Rotelli’s inspiration, are, above all, works of poetry. This is a constant reference in his research, always associated with imagination, making his works become real poems made of gold or of light. This exhibition will show how this sense of  imagination is becoming more and more sophisticated thanks to the graphic pieces illustrated throughout his work as a painter.

Rotelli’s intent is to create a solid relationship between art and other branches of learning; that is why he has often involved philosophers, musicians, photographers, film directors in his research, but his main relationship is with poetry. This has become a constant reference in increasingly spectacular installations.

Marco Nereo Rotelli is one of the most famous and popular Italian artists, who have created many installations all around the world and have received many awards. He has participated in the most significant international artistic projects and exhibitions: Venice Biennale, Beijing Biennial, and has received an award from the President of the Italian Republic on the occasion of the 51st edition of the Venice Biennale. In France  he created memorable installations at the Petit Palais and at the Cartier Foundation. His works can be seen in the most important international museums and collections (Paris, Milan, Beijing, New York…). Currently the artist is working for the Louis Vuitton Company on a major international project.
