Pan American Art Projects opens the summer with the show “Primary Colors “(May 30 - July 4). This is a collective exhibition presenting the works of Argentineans, Carolina Sardi and Hernan Dompe; Cubans, Carlos Gonzalez and Luis Enrique Camejo; Americans, William Cannings and Joe Ramiro Garcia; and Jamaican, Milton George. This exhibition explores the work of these artists with color, how each of them uses it in a very personal way and based on his own code.

Once more the gallery will participate in the prestigious contemporary art fair SCOPE, in Basel, Switzerland (June 8-14).  Works by Carlos Estevez, Francis Acea, Joe Ramiro Garcia, Tracey Snelling, Pablo Soria, Rusty Scruby, William Cannings, Kadir Lopez, The Merger, Ted Larsen and Yue Minjun will be presented to European collectors and the public at large.

The second summer exhibition will have a historic character and will explore the period known as Las Vanguardias in Cuban art. It is an opportunity to see a selection of rare pieces from this period from the extensive gallery inventory. “Las Vanguardias Cubanas” runs from July 11 through August 13.

The gallery will be closed for summer vacation from August 16 to September 1, reopening in time for the art season with the exhibition of Gustavo Acosta and Carlos Gonzalez (September 5-October 3). Gustavo Acosta known for his enigmatic, metaphysical landscapes will, on this occasion, present a selection of his most recent works. Carlos Gonzalez will display his dynamic sculptures inspired by the possibilities that the material offers, in order to obtain highly original forms. The sensuality of some of his pieces is reinforced by a polished finish. Very often his work tends towards a monumental scale, making it suitable for the outdoors or public spaces.
